MAIN PURPOSE
•To be part of the UAE Sales Team which controls the services and outputs of Projects in the UAE.
•To act as the first point of contact on Projects.
•To coordinate activities in such a way to exceed customer expectations and ensure internal processes are managed without causing delays on site.
•To contribute to the growth and profitability of the UAE business by working closely with the Sales and Technical teams on Projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Reporting to the Sales Manager, UAE, the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the interface between the Sales Team, the Technical (Engineering and Site Assistance Technicians) Team and Operations Team for the UAE to ensure the efficient implementation and execution of work on Projects to meet agreed schedules and priorities.
•Provide construction updates to relevant teams as required.
•Monitor the progress of Projects through the material delivery/construction phase, to ensure that appropriate schedule is maintained.
•Liaise with various Internal and where required, External teams to agree priorities and influence scheduling of Altrad RMDK product delivery, erection and site inspection according to project schedule.
•Provide routine updates to Sales Manager on the status of Projects and any developments that may impact schedule, cost, safety and/or reputation.
•Be able to provide accurate and timely weekly update referenced against the Altrad RMDK Project Plan, highlighting any potential issues/concerns.
•Attend regular meetings with Sales- Technical and Operations team to ensure that dates and key information is entered regularly and accurately.
•Be involved in material planning meetings and provide live inputs to these meetings based on site progress, thus enabling sales and operations teams to plan and source material effectively.
•Present predicted impact delays may have in terms of construction deadlines to ensure that prioritization is agreed and documented.
•Ensure compliance and alignment of all Altrad RMDK’s activities with customers of Project’s to ensure Health, Safety Quality policies are adhered to.
•Demonstrate capacity to self motivate and effectively communicate with all parties
•Demonstrate the ability to deal with all administration tasks expediently, efficiently and professionally.
•Adopt a pro-active role in identifying any process and safety improvements.
•To effectively coordinate activities in line with internal policies and procedure to meet Project deadlines.
•To understand and manage coordination activities of construction projects as required.
•To work closely with the Senior Engineering Manager by co-ordinating the preparation of technical schemes and quotations for customers on Projects, including calculations, if required.
•To have an overview of operational and management practices, maintenance of systems and procedures within the UAE technical function in conjunction with the Senior Engineering Manager for the UAE.
•Project the Altrad RMDK image in the marketplace via specialised exhibitions, demonstrations and presentations as authorised.
•To provide guidance in Altrad RMDK products to customers and other staff when required.
•To set an example to other members of staff in the high level of professionalism and performance expected at Altrad RMDK.
•Ensure monthly reports are clear, concise and to the point detailing project deadlines.
•Working to Altrad RMDK ISO 9001 and Health and Safety Procedures.
•Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
•Resource conservation is critical, this includes reducing fuel consumption, minimizing emissions, and optimizing water and material usage whenever you can.
•Works with teams to promote sustainable practices, such as reducing project-related waste and optimizing resource use.
